About the Role
We are partnering with a leading UK-headquartered international law firm, consistently ranked among the top-tier practices for Energy, Infrastructure & Projects. With a strong ASEAN presence and a growing practice, the firm is looking to add a Projects Associate to its Singapore team.
The successful candidate will take genuine ownership of transactions — advising lenders, developers and sponsors on complex, multi-jurisdictional limited recourse financings. The role spans the full project document suite and offers substantive, high-quality work across the power, renewables, oil & gas, utilities and broader infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise lenders, developers and sponsors on complex limited recourse project financings across multiple jurisdictions
- Draft and negotiate construction and O&M arrangements, including under internationally recognised standard forms such as FIDIC-based EPC contracts
- Work across the full project document suite, including power purchase agreements, offtake contracts, feedstock and fuel supply agreements, concession contracts, interface agreements and ancillary security packages
- Produce focused, well-structured due diligence reports that surface the issues most relevant to the transaction
- Coordinate multi-jurisdictional advice across ASEAN and broader project sectors
Key Requirements
- 4–8 years of post-qualification experience in projects, energy or infrastructure finance
- Qualified in Singapore, England & Wales, or an equivalent common law jurisdiction
- Working knowledge of FIDIC and other construction contract forms preferred
- Commercially aware with strong drafting and negotiation skills
